The work continues...

Good Morning Crafters!

Just checking in...want to start connecting with you all on a more regular basis.  SO, what's on the agenda for today you ask?  Well, much to my delight, I was able to purchase the remaining 10 yards of hot pink ball fringe at Hobby Lobby yesterday that I needed.  I plan on embellishing the remaining 27 Ikea DRONA cubes with the fringe to match the ones I've already done.

I have been agonizing over labels for these cubes for MONTHS.  I'm obviously over-thinking it, so for now...no labels on them. Maybe inspiration will hit me...usually happens when I least expect it.  Does that happen to you?

I also received the little coordinating black chandelier last night that I ordered.  Check it out here!  This will just be an additional plug in chandelier in my ribbon corner.  Need to get it out of the box and ready for my husband.  He hung my larger chandelier in my craft room sitting area this weekend.

Why plug-ins?  Because, quite frankly, I don't want to jack with finding an electrician or pay for the work.  I am not the most patient with experienced trades because they always seem to work....oh....when they feel like it. Except for my wallpaper guy.  He was AMAZING!  I will plug these into the remote plug-in system I use at Christmas, so that I don't have to go over and manually turn both switches on and off on the chandeliers.  I will be able to turn them on and off with a remote when I want that little bit of extra light in the corners of my craft room.  Excited!

I also have two Jetmax Cubes to put together for my scrap paper because the ones I am using now are those plastic, see-through drawers.  I bought mine at Michael's, 50% off of course.  The goal is to have it neat and stream-lined in my craft space.  And then lastly, I need to try to install my Barbie painting into the dry brushed frame I completed yesterday (check out yesterday's blog post for the details). Whew, I'd better get to it!

Then I'm off to my other job--Soccer Mom.  I will be cheering on my middle school daughter in her game this afternoon. She's a keeper (a.k.a. goalie).

Thanks for stopping by!
