PYL is 1 year old!

I just realized that my PYL blog is one year old today!!!!  I can't believe it.  To see my very first post, click here.  What have we accomplished in a year?  A LOT!  Check it out:
  • Almost 120,000 blog hits.
  • 220 blog posts
  • 177 Google subscribers.
  • 1,045 You Tube subscribers.
  • 990 PYL Facebook members.
  • One of Circle of Mom's Top 25 blogs of 2012
  • And hopefully giving more people the confidence to craft!!!
I am truly amazed and humbled.  I want to personally thank my biggest fan, my awesome husband, Drew, without whom this would absolutely NOT be possible. Thanks for constantly going to work with glitter all over your face and not being mad, even though you have to explain to people all the time that you live in "Glitter World".  Thanks to Mom and Dad for ALWAYS supporting my art. Thanks to my girls for being my cheerleaders.  It's so awesome that y'all are proud of me!  Thank you to Rachel, my marketing department, for pushing me to expand more.  Thank you to Mattie, whose words "You should start a blog." stuck with me and were the catalyst I needed.  And thank you to all my other friends and family for their support and encouragement.  I also want to thank Jeannie Pence, owner of Trendy Tree.  She is a great business woman from whom I've learned so much.  She is incredibly generous with her help!  And, I want to thank YOU, my viewers, for your support and interest.  I have learned so much from you as well!  I love to get e-mails telling me of new businesses being started, a shared hobby among family members, and renewed interest in crafting.  My goals for the upcoming year are to just continue expanding the blog, try new crafts, hopefully to be given the opportunity to try out new products and give you my reviews, and to continue to make my blog a fun place to visit.  I would love to hear what you would like to see more of!

Why am I taking up a post to thank everyone?  Because this blog and everyone that views it is important to me.  While crafting isn't my "job", it is amazing to share my experiences and to maybe teach you about something I love doing.  I am always striving to take the intimidation out of crafting and decorating for people.  Just because you aren't a professional, doesn't mean you can't have a fabulous house, throw amazing parties that are the talk of the neighborhood, and decorate for the holidays like a pro!

Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH, PYLers!
This community of artists is a constant blessing to me!
