Episode 95: Cinco de Mayo Doorscape!

Hola!

I finished my Cinco de Mayo doorscape today, and I love how colorful and cheery it is!  I used fabric that I purchased at Hobby Lobby instead of mesh.  Then I accented it with turquoise and burlap ribbon (from Trendy Tree and a local store, respectively).  Next, I tried my hand at tissue paper flowers.  I found the fabulous instructions on Pinterest.  Check it out here.  I also have the flower tutorial link in my "Cinco de Mayo" and "Flowers I MUST try" pin boards on Pinterest.  You can start following my boards by clicking on the "Follow me on Pinterest" button in the left hand column of my blog.  I then wired in mini pinatas from Hobby Lobby and the foam margaritas I made earlier this week.  If you missed the margarita blog post, you can check it out here.  I finished the doorscape off with a couple of sombreros instead of wreaths.  Now it's time to fiesta!  Take a look at the pics and video below:
