Episode 81: My Valentine Front Door

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!  I thought I would surprise you with my Valentine Front Door (pics and video).  The theme--CHOCOLATE!

Here is the supply list:

Basic Christmas garland
Basic Pink Deco mesh (1.5 rolls)
2.5 inch hot pink deco mesh ribbon (25 yard roll...plenty left over)
Chocolate brown ribbon from Hobby Lobby (2 rolls--30 feet on each roll)
Glamour Rope in Chocolate Brown (2 packages http://www.trendytree.com/glamour-rope-chocolate-brown-glitter-roping-decoration.html)
"Love" ribbon on clearance from Michael's (3 rolls--4 yards each roll)
Chocolates decorations, for instructions see Episode 79: Fun Foam!
Paper clips

Check out the Video:

Instructions:

Step 1:  Apply the mesh. I start in the top left corner and work across the top and down the right side.  Then, I apply the mesh to the left side.  This avoids running out of mesh in awkward places around the door.

Step 2:  Apply the 2.5 hot pink mesh ribbon.  I twirled it in between the places where I secured it to give it a curly-Q look.

Step 3:  Add the chocolate brown ribbon.

Step 4:  Add the Glamour Rope.

Step 5:  Add the decorations.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

  1. I love everything you do. But i have a question...do you reuse the items in your garland for other holidays or do you store them for the next..for example store it for next valentine's or take apart and use some of the items for other holidays?
