Teacher Gift

So, I seriously hope that one of my daughter's teachers is not a PYL follower, or she will figure out pretty quick who her "Secret Parent" is.  LOL  Anyway, our school has a Secret Parent Program.  Parents are assigned to teachers and asked to give them a little gift at the beginning of each month.  So, this month I thought I would design a little Christmas tree for her classroom.  This teacher is a Clemson grad, not something frequently seen here in Oklahoma.  Heck, I am an Texas A&M Aggie, and you don't see many Aggies up here either.  :-)  So, I was SUPER excited when I just happened upon these Clemson ornaments at a local store.  They worked perfectly!

Christmas Tree Supply List:

A little, plain Christmas tree (I actually had one in storage)
Orange and Purple deco mesh (I had remnants in my stash...don't throw away remnants!)
Orange and Purple ribbon  (Again, I had leftovers)
Ornaments
Pipecleaners
Floral picks (Leftovers)

Step 1:  Apply the deco mesh.  I went vertically.  Two columns of orange and purple.

Step 2:  Add ribbon.  Secure ornaments with pipe cleaners or floral wire.  Add floral picks.

\
Step 3:  Add a bow to the top.

And ta-da..finished!  A personal teacher gift that took less than 30 minutes to make!

I hope she likes it!!!  I also went to "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and got her an individual bundt cake.  And, yes, I bought myself one too.  Talk about YUMMY with a capital YUM!  They even wrapped it up super cute and festive.  I highly recommend them.  Check out the website here.
