Episode 91: A Spring Tablescape

Good Morning and Good Friday everyone!

My Great-Grandmother always said to plant something on Good Friday.  It is a family tradition.  So my girls and I will be planting red geraniums later today in memory of my Grandmother, Dorothy.  She passed away a few years ago but is still very much missed in our family.  Red geraniums were her favorite flowers to grow, and interestingly, they are also flowers I can grow.  So, the flowers remind my Mom and me of my beloved Memaw.  I hope you plant something beautiful today.

Speaking of Spring, I put together a tablescape inspired by the outdoors.  Some of it is from my collection--Blue Ridge dishes and Royal Copley vase.  Other items were purchased from a  few of my favorite vendors at The Market here in town.  The little bunny is from Target, and the chargers are from Pier 1.

And here are some pics:

One of the PYLers (Shannon Winters) in the Spring Tablescape Contest used cabbage leaves in her decor.  That reminded me that I had some, so I thought I would use mine too!

Thanks for stopping by!  Take time to "Prettify Your Life"!
