Connecting with the Crafter: Martha Cochran

Today PYL is featuring crafter Martha Cochran.  Here was her wreath entry for the Sugarplums and Snowmen Wreath Contest.




Now take a moment to get to know a little about Martha by reading her "Connecting with the Crafter" interview with PYL.

What's your name?
Martha Cochran


Where do you live?
Hurricane, WV


What was the inspiration for your wreath entry in the contest?
I was actually looking through my mesh & saw a whole roll of brown mesh & decided on the Gingerbread Man wreath. I wanted to make a nontraditional wreath.


What/When did you start crafting?
I guess in college. In one of my classes; we had to do a project & then present it to the class with step by step instructions. It was around Christmas so I made a homemade snow globe. The Professor loved it.

Where's your favorite place to find craft supplies?
Hobby Lobby


Tell us about your crafting space--spacious crafting suite or I craft like a nomad--constantly on the move to the best space available at the time!
I don't have one but hoping to turn one of my sons playrooms into one this summer.


What's your favorite occasion to craft for?
Christmas!!!


Besides crafting, what other things do you like to do?
Reading & decorating.
