Episode 52: Making Your Own Floral Pick

Hi Everyone!

I FINALLY got my video done!  Thanks for being so patient with me!  In this video I show you how to make your own custom floral picks to use in wreaths or garlands.  Here are some pics of the finish samples:

Now, let's talk about the supplies:

You will need small wooden letters.  Mine were purchased at Hobby Lobby.  You will also need wrapping paper of your choice.  My sparkly blue wrapping paper was purchased at Michael's.  And the other supplies are Mod Podge, a foam brush, spray adhesive, 18 gauge floral wire, wire cutters, an exacto knife, and floral tape.

Here is the How-To Video:

And finally, here is a pic of the Snow-Tex product I used to make "snow" on my letters.  I love this stuff!  You can get it at Hobby Lobby.

I was SUPER excited with the results.  I've never tried to make my own picks.  This opens up all kinds of possibilities for my decorating.  I hope you will give it a try too!

:-) Angela
